These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Window Patrol (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By scheduling service, submitting a booking request, or allowing work to proceed at your property, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

Window Patrol provides professional window cleaning services, including interior and exterior glass cleaning, screen cleaning, and track and frame detailing, as specifically agreed upon at the time of booking.

Services are limited to cleaning only and do not include repair, restoration, or replacement of glass or window components unless explicitly stated in writing.

2. Service Limitations & Exclusions

A. Standard Cleaning Limitations

Our standard window cleaning services do not remove:

Hard water stains or mineral deposits
Glass staining or etching
Oxidation
Haze caused by chemical exposure or manufacturing defects
Paint, adhesive residue, construction debris, or graffiti
Scratches, chips, cracks, or other pre-existing damage

Removal of these conditions requires specialty restoration services, which are not included in standard pricing and may not be offered by Window Patrol.

B. Pre-Existing Glass Conditions

Many glass imperfections are not visible until windows are cleaned. By authorizing service, you acknowledge that:

Pre-existing defects may become more apparent after cleaning
Window Patrol is not responsible for the discovery or appearance of such defects

3. Scratch Waiver & Glass Liability Disclaimer

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING SCRATCHES

Glass, particularly tempered glass, may contain manufacturing defects, debris inclusions, or prior surface damage that can result in scratches during normal cleaning—even when industry-standard methods and professional care are used.

By authorizing Window Patrol to perform window cleaning services, you agree to the following:

Window Patrol is not responsible for scratches resulting from pre-existing glass conditions, manufacturing defects, or embedded debris
You acknowledge that scratches may occur despite proper technique and equipment
Window Patrol does not assume liability for glass damage unless caused by gross negligence

By proceeding with service, you expressly waive any claims against Window Patrol for scratching, etching, or surface damage to glass.

If you have concerns about glass condition, you must notify us prior to service so we can determine whether to proceed.

4. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure safe and efficient service, customers agree to:

Provide safe and reasonable access to all windows
Remove personal items, fragile objects, and window coverings prior to service
Secure pets and ensure safe working conditions
Notify us in advance of any known glass defects or access limitations

Window Patrol reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if conditions are unsafe.

5. Scheduling, Cancellations & Rescheduling

Appointments may be rescheduled due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances
We request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules
Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee

6. Weather Policy

Window cleaning is weather-dependent. Light rain does not generally impact results; however, unsafe conditions (e.g., lightning, high winds) may require rescheduling at our discretion.

7. Pricing & Payment Terms

Pricing is based on information provided at booking and may be adjusted if actual conditions differ
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing
Accepted payment methods will be communicated at time of service

Unpaid balances may result in suspension of future services.

8. Satisfaction & Disputes

If you are not satisfied with the service provided, you must notify us within 24 hours of completion so we may evaluate and, if appropriate, address the concern.

Claims made after this period may not be eligible for review.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Window Patrol’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service performed
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

10. Text Messaging & Communications

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive service-related communications, including appointment reminders and updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.

Window Patrol reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
